What is I-Mount?

A six meter mounting rail for solar panels. You fix it to your line and the panels seat straight, so the row stays square from the first panel to the last.

What does it fix to?

A pole, a purlin, a roof rafter, or straight into galvanised steel. It bolts through a lip channel with T-bolts from underneath, and there is room to drive a roofing screw if you are going into steel.

Why are the panels mounted landscape?

The rail clamps the long side of the panel, where the frame is stiff. Clamped on the short side, thin framed panels flex, and it is the glass that goes, not the aluminium.

Can I fix it without using the T-bolt?

Yes. You can screw the rail straight down onto a flat surface. The lip holds a gap between the panel and the mounting surface, so you keep clearance either way.

How long are the lengths?

Six metres, spliced with a flat bar joiner and grabber screws where the run carries on.

Which panels does it take?

Common framed panels. Send us your panel dimensions and we will confirm the fit.
